Robert “Bob” Adair, 54, of Big Spring, died on Thursday, March 29, 2012, in a local nursing home. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Andrews.
Bob was born Jan. 24, 1958, in Andrews.
Survivors include two brothers, Paul “Sonny” Adair and wife Lynn of Big Spring and Terry Adair of Andrews; one sister, Laurie Kennedy and husband Randall of Williams, Ariz.; grandmother, Verniece Ballew of Tucumcari, N.M.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Paul W. Sr. and Laurel (Ballew) Adair, and two nephews.
Elizabeth Herrera Martinez, 34, of Big Spring died Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
A vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2012, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
She was born July 8, 1977, in Big Spring, Texas, and married Rodney Martinez on June 8, 1994, in Big Spring. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Sheila Mae Fryar Welch passed from this earth March 28, 2012, after an extended stay at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo, Texas.
Sheila was born Jan. 1, 1948, to W.C. and Edith Fryar. She was baptized at the Prairie View Baptist Church in the summer of 1956. She graduated from Sands High School in 1967. While attending Howard Payne University, she met and married Edward Allen Welch on June 3, 1978.
Sheila was a member of the North Birdwell Lane United Methodist Church and the Beauceant Assembly #211, serving as president in 2011.

Brenda Robertson, 63, of Big Spring died Monday, March 26, 2012, at her daughter’s home in Midland. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Chapel.
She was born Nov. 27, 1948, in Colorado City to Johnnie and M.D. Robertson. She lived most of her life in Howard County. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Kenneth Reed, 51, of Terrell passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012, in Salt Lake City, Utah. A service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2012, at the Veteran's Memorial in Terrell with military honors.
Kenneth was born Sept. 17, 1960, in Big Spring to William A. and Melva Jeane Reed.
He was preceded in death by his father, William A. (Pete) Reed; and his sister, Jerri.

Joe Jones Sr., 75, of San Angelo, formerly of Big Spring died Saturday, March 24, 2012, in San Angelo. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Josephine Lewis Massey, 87, of Big Spring died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2012, at the funeral home.
She was born Oct. 2, 1924, in Big Spring, Texas, and married Vernon Lewis on Dec. 30, 1942, in Big Spring. He preceded her in death April 13, 1993. She then married David L. Massey Jr. on Jan. 2, 1999. He preceded her in death Oct. 26, 2003.

Jose “Chepe” Marquez Hernandez, 83, of Big Spring, died Friday, March 23, 2012, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
