AMARILLO — Gwendolyn Kay Sheehan Oliver, 90. of Amarillo passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012. Funeral services were held Monday, May 28, 2012, at Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Pioneer Chapel with Pastor Jerry Davey officiating. Interment will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo.
Gwen was born Nov. 20, 1921, in New Castle, Texas, to Harry Curran and Maude Burdick Sheehan. As a child, she moved to Eastland County, Texas. She graduated from Pioneer High School.
Frances Yvonne "Frankie" Herron, 77, passed away unexpectedly May 26, 2012, in Fort Worth. Frankie was born in Martin County, Texas, Nov. 4, 1934, to Clyde and Verda Geurin, and graduated from Stanton High School. She met Carl Herron in 1953 at a youth rally at Prairie View Baptist Church in Big Spring. Carl fell in love with her as soon as she walked in the door, telling his friends, “I’m going to marry that girl.” They were married Dec. 24, 1954.
LaDell Musgrove, 73, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at her residence. Her services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
