Mina McCullough, 85, of Big Spring died Monday, June 11, 2012, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Sweetwater Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 26, 1926, in Sweetwater, Texas, to Frances and Fred Penton. She grew up in Sweetwater and graduated from Sweetwater High School. She came to Big Spring in 1944. She worked at the Veterans Administration Medical Center until retiring. She was a Baptist.
Pat Barron, 83, of Round Rock, formerly of Forsan died Monday, June 11, 2012, in a Round Rock nursing home. Her services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
