Maria Holguin Chavarria, 48, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at her residence. Prayer services will be at 8 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
She was born Aug. 1, 1963 in Stanton, Texas, to Teresa and Cruz Holguin. She has been a lifetime resident of Howard County. She married Albert Chavarria Aug. 6, 2011 in Big Spring. He preceded her in death on Jan. 31, 2012. She was a homemaker and a Christian.
