Former Big Spring resident Barbara Jean Vieira, 77, of Weatherford, affectionately known as Grandma and Gigi, was granted her last wish — to join her husband in their mansion in the skies — on Aug. 27, 2012. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Memorial Park with Pastor Ron Liles officiating.
Guadalupe R. “Lupe” Gonzales, 86, of Big Spring died Monday, August 27, 2012, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Vigil services were at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
