Otilia Alvarado, 84, of Big Spring, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Baylor Medical Center of Grapevine. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Urena “Judy” Loya, 80, of Big Spring died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
A prayer vigil will be held at 7 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
Urena was born June 6, 1932, in Sonora, Texas, and married Octavio A. Loya. He preceded her in death July 23, 2004.
