Sharon Gonzalez, 64, of Big Spring, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Chapel with the Rev. Pat Ray, pastor of Prairieview Baptist Church, and Herb McPherson, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olive Memorial Park.
She was born Aug. 28, 1947, to Pat and Russell Wetmore in Glendale, Calif. She married Juan Gonzalez on Feb. 14, 1979, in Big Spring, Texas. She has been a resident of Howard County for 34 years. She was a member of Prairieview Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Lacy Edwards, 69, of Big Spring died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at his residence. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Rick Cunningham and Patrick Robinson officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Trinity Memorial Park.
