Funeral services for Paige N. Tarango have been set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Stanton with Msgr. Tim Schwertner officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Paige passed away at the age of 16 in San Antonio, Texas, amongst her family on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012. She was born Aug. 12, 1996, in Big Spring,Texas, to Shirley Cortez and Marc Tarango. Paige was a student.
David “Davi” Rios, 73, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Myers & Smith Funeral Home with Billy Guy, pastor of Full Gospel Fellowship, officiating.
He was born June 15, 1939 in Breckenridge, Mich., to Jessie and Domingo Rios Sr. He had been a resident of the community since 1970. He owned service stations at Midkiff and Garden City but also worked in the oil field most of his life. In later years, he was a caregiver for his parents.
Bobbie N. Cooley, 63, of Big Spring died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Melva Reed, 81, of Big Spring died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at her residence. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
