Roland "Ro" Gore, 60, of Big Spring died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Vigil services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Myers & Smith Chapel. Family visitation will begin directly following the vigil until 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
JoAnn Howell-Mason, 66, of Big Spring died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at her residence. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Pastor Phil Babcock, pastor of New Testament Baptist Church of Midland, officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3 pm. at Resthaven North Cemetery in Midland, Texas.

Faye Price, 87, of Austin and formerly of Big Spring, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, in Austin. She fought a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel with Bill Ivins, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
George G. Bass, 87, of Big Spring, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Lamun-Lusk-Sanchez Texas State Veterans Home. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.

Augustine “Telo” Cantu, 67, of Big Spring died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. He will lie in state from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Vigil services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Deacon Johnny Arguello, officiating.
He was born March 27, 1945, in Ozona, Texas, to Victoria (Mendez) and Domingo Cantu. He lived most of his life in Howard County. He was a truck driver and had worked for Price Construction.
Rudy Hilario, 52, of Big Spring died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. Prayer services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Pastor Reynaldo Bennett officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
Joe Martin Doporto, 55, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, in Arlington, Texas. Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Msgr. Bernard L. Gully officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

With her daughter and son-in-law by her side, Wanda Faye Haney, 85, of Muskogee, Okla., was welcomed into her eternal home Friday, Dec. 21, 2012. She was born Aug. 9, 1927, in Merkel, Texas, the daughter of Grant and Annie Lee (Martin) Riggan.
