Nelda Lois Callarman died Sunday morning, Feb. 17, 2013, at Vitas Hospice in San Antonio. After suffering two aneurysms on Christmas Eve at home in Big Spring, she spent six weeks in the hospital and rehabilitation clinics in Lubbock and San Antonio before moving to hospice one week ago.
Nelda was born Sept. 7, 1931, in Levelland, Texas. She was the second of O.C. and Allie Belle Richards' four children and is survived by her three siblings, LaVerne Sandlin Davis of Birmingham, Ala. And Winona Herrin and David Richards, both of Phoenix, Ariz.
Jose Munoz, 91, of Big Spring, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.
He was born March 13, 1921, in Marfa, Texas and married Maria Refugia Martinez Dec. 31, 1943 in Big Spring. She preceded him in death Sept. 18, 1977.
Fernando Rodriguez, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 in a local hospital. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
Daniel Vera Flores, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at his residence. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
