Odessa (Grandmother) Boothe, 93, of Big Spring went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, June 1, 2013. She fought a good fight; she finished the course; she kept the faith.

Lawrence Edmund Thibeault passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013. He was 74 years old, born on March 12, 1939, in Springfield, Mass., to Betsey and Phillip Thibeault.
He served four years in the U.S. Navy. Lawrence and his family moved to Odessa in 1975, where he was co-owner of Simpson’s Photo Service.
Survivors include five siblings; his son, Lawrence Thibeault and wife Karen of Big Spring, Texas; daughter, Sheila Heffernan of Odessa, Texas; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel.
Boby J. Barnes, 75, of Big Spring, Texas passed quietly from this world at his home on Thursday, May 30, 2013.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 3, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Spring Creek Fellowship in Big Spring with Pastor Derrick Looney officiating.
He was born Sept. 22, 1937, to Roy N. Barnes and Emma R. Ferguson in Midland, Ark., and was the youngest of six. He served in the U.S. Navy.
He married Nina F. York on Feb. 18, 1961, in Big Spring, moved to El Paso, Texas, in 1965 and lived there until returning to Big Spring in 1998.
Isabel "Cuata" Mata, 82, of Big Spring passed away Friday, May 31, 2013. Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Myers& Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with MSGR Bernard L. Gully officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
Joy Johnke, 71, of Big Spring, died Thursday, May 30, 2013, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Dr. Randy Cotton officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2013, at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 26, 1942, in Big Spring, Texas, and married Alvin Johnke in January of 2006 in Big Spring, Texas.
FORT WORTH — Yvonne Bohannon Ivie, 87, a Christian, departed this life Wednesday, May 29, 2013.
Graveside Service: The family will honor and celebrate Yvonne's life at a private graveside service Tuesday, June 4.

Donnie Lewayne Fox, 70, of Big Spring died Saturday, May 25, 2013, at his residence. Private family services will be held at a later date in Oklahoma.
He was born June 14, 1942, in Ada, Okla., to Ola Della (Tollison) and William Thurman Fox. He was a disabled veteran and a recipient of a Purple Heart in Vietnam. He was a carpenter by trade.
He is survived by his wife, Eddye; his stepson, Adrian; and a sister, Helen.
