Donnie Wayne Hale, 64, of Westbrook, Texas, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, Jan. 29, 2014.
Mary Dean Cuthbertson 88, of Houma, La., formerly of Big Spring, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, in a Houma nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring.
Mary was born Dec. 21, 1925, in Texas and married Vernon Cuthbertson Nov. 17 1944, in Big Spring. He preceded her in death Nov. 26, 1998.
She worked in the canteen at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Big Spring. After the death of her husband and sons, she had moved to Houma to be closer to her daughter.
Wanda M. Rudinger, 58, of Big Spring, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Covenant Church with Pastor Craig Felty officiating.
She was born to Alice and Charles Churchwell in California. She married James Rudinger Aug. 13, 1977, in Big Spring. She was a longtime resident of Big Spring and was a teacher for the Big Spring Independent School District. She was a member of Cornerstone Covenant Church.
Jacinto S. Hilario, 77, of Big Spring, died Tuesday Jan. 28, 2014, at his residence. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.

Guadalupe â€śLupeâ€ť Alcantar Ramirez, 82, of Big Spring died Monday Jan. 27, 2014, at her residence. Vigil services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial following at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
She was born to Isabel and Andres Alcantar Sr. in Big Spring on Dec. 31, 1931. She was a lifelong resident of Big Spring. She worked at the Big Spring State Hospital kitchen. She married Eusebio Ramirez in Big Spring in March 1949. He preceded her in death September 2, 1986.
Linda Jo Arnold, age 70, a resident of Irving, Texas, for 49 years, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at her home.
Born June 15, 1943, in Big Spring, Texas, the daughter of Edward Elmo Phillips and Dorothy Belle Riggs Phillips, she was a retired bookkeeper and nanny. Linda married Norman R. Arnold May 1, 1964. She coached junior bowling and was a coordinator for that program in Irving for many years; participated in the Irving Police Departmentâ€™s Citizens on Patrol program; and attended the Heritage Senior Center.
Carol Ann Nemmers Kurth was born Jan. 14, 1940, in San Diego, Calif., to Joseph and Mary Ella Nemmers. She was raised all over the country due to her father's work as a contractor. She attended Ohio State, Marquette University and Dakota Wesleyan University, where she acquired several degrees, including an RN and a BSN.
She married Robert Schmidt Sr. and had four children; three sons and a daughter.
Addie Oliver, 87, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Earline Davidson, 96, of Big Spring, died Sunday Jan. 26, 2014, at Kristi Lee Manor Nursing Home in Colorado City. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Memorial Park with the Rev. Kenneth McIntosh of First Christian Church officiating.
She was born Feb. 15, 1917, in Big Spring to Ollie and Eddie Rutledge. She was a lifelong resident of Big Spring. She was a homemaker and married I.H. â€śBusterâ€ť Davidson Sept.16, 1940, in Monahans, Texas. He preceded her in death June 4, 2007. She was a member of First Christian Church.
