Mrs. Ernest W. 'Billie' Smith

Mrs. Ernest W. "Billie" Smith, 83, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, in a local nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive Memorial Park with Greg Surles officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She was born Sept. 11, 1930, in Big Spring, Texas and married Ernest W. Smith Jan. 9, 1953, in Hobbs, N.M. He preceded her in death Nov. 4, 1997.

Marshall C. Louder, 88, of Tarzan, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Manor Park in Midland. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at the First Baptist Church of Stanton. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the Gilbreath Funeral Home in Stanton.

Edwin Maurice Wright

Edwin Maurice Wright, 88, of Snyder, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder after a lengthy illness.

Services for Mr. Wright will be held Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Brian Adams and Ben Reed officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mary Ramirez Magana

Mary Ramirez Magana, 52, of Big Spring, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Private family services will be held at a later date.

She was born Sept. 12, 1959 in Cameron, Texas to Julia and Francisco Ramirez Continez. She spent most of her life in Big Spring and was a Catholic. She was a homemaker but also worked at Lamun-Lusk Sanchez.
