Doyce Reed, 89, of Big Spring, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
Reta Spradling, 92, of Big Spring, died Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, in a Midland hospital. Her services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory.
Billy Morgan Green, age 85, died Oct. 18, 2014 at Parkview Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Big Spring, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014 at Restland Cemetery in Olney, Texas, with Scotte Clark, minister of the Hamilton Street Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Evanell E. Moore, 83, of Big Spring formerly of Uvalde, Texas died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Private family services will be at a later date.
She was born Aug. 26, 1931, in Durant, Okla., to Maddie (Eubanks) and Bert Sanders. She had been a resident of Big Spring for about two years, coming from Uvalde; however she spent most of her life in Oregon. She was a retired bookkeeper and a Seventh Day Adventist.
Josefina Martinez, 52, of Big Spring died Thursday, Oct.16. 2014, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Myers & Smith Chapel.
She was born Sept. 20, 1962, in Big Spring to Isabel and Pedro Martinez. She was a homemaker, a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and was a lifetime resident of Big Spring.
Our beloved husband, brother, Dad and Grandale entered Heavenâ€™s Gates and joined his Heavenly Father Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014. Larry Dale Worthan was born in the country outside of Levelland, Hockley County in Texas on Sept. 28, 1938, to Earl and Hazel Worthan. He was three months old before they traveled to town to take him to the doctor to register his birth and give him a name. For the first three months of his life, they called him Butch. When he was about five months old, the family moved to the farming communities of New Deal and Abernathy.
L. Dale Worthan, 76, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home.
Dale was born Sept. 28, 1938, in Levelland, Texas, and married Isabel Garcia Dec. 25, 1998, in Las Vegas, Nev.
He was long-time salesman for Bob Brock Ford.
Archie Gammons, 93, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014, at Odessa Regional Medical Center. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Dr. Randy Cotton, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, officiating.
