Donald Koerber, 71, of Big Spring, died Thursday in an Odessa Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
He was born April 15, 1942, in Wichita, Kan.,Â and married Aloma Kay Graves June 10, 1960, in Phoenix, Ariz. She preceded him in death Dec. 14, 2008.
He was a Christian.
Betty Jane Weaver, formerly of Sand Springs, passed away Dec. 9 at the age of 91 after a lengthy illness.
She was a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Weaver) Hubbard of St. Leon, Ind.; two sons, Richard George Weaver of Eunice, La., and Robert Orin Weaver of Lubbock, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Claude Hayden Roberts, 86, of Bangs, Texas, passed away Dec. 12, 2013, in a Brownwood hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16 at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Texas, under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early, Texas. Pastor Daniel Vasquez of Victory Life Church in Brownwood, Texas, will be officiating.
Mildred Vaughn, 96, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, in a Mansfield, Texas nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Ken McIntosh officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

Tim Ballard, 52, of Big Spring,Texas died Friday Dec. 6, 2013, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church. Private interment will be at Trinity Memorial Park.
OLNEY â Mary Green, age 81, died Dec. 9, 2013, at Parkview Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Big Spring, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at the Hamilton Street Church of Christ in Olney, Texas, with Scotte Clark, minister, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Tom E. Wood, 63, of Petty, while in Tulsa, Okla., died Tuesday Nov. 26, 2013, from cancer. Starrett Funeral Home will conduct a memorial service at 1 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 3, 2013, at Lamar Avenue Church of Christ, with Patrick Cannon officiating.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church in Big Spring with the Rev. Keith Wiseman, the Rev. Bill Ivins and the Rev. Barbara Kirk-Norris officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

Former Big Spring resident William Robert âBilly Bobâ Watson joined his wife in heaven Dec. 3, 2013.
Born to Charles Lee Watson and Jewel Bell Smith in Strawn, Texas, on Oct. 15, 1929, Billy Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Upon military discharge, he sought guidance from his minister, which led to meeting the ministerâs niece and Billy Bobâs future wife, Candace Dickinson. Billy Bob proposed on their first date during the Governorâs Ball at the Driskill Hotel and Candace said yes. They began their lives on the Dickinson ranches in New Mexico.
