Judy Angelo, 67, of Big Spring passed from this life Monday, May 30, 2011, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, at the 14th and Main Church of Christ with Rick Cunningham and Eddy Pitchford officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2011, at Memory Gardens in Corpus Christi.
Mary Alice Cain Christensen, 87, of Oak Ridge Estates left us May 29, 2011, for her eternal resting place with our Lord. A memorial service will be held in Midland and her final resting place will be at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in remembrance be given to her favorite charity, the Rescue Mission of El Paso (1949 W. Paisano, El Paso 79922) or to a charity of your choice.
Roberta (Bobbie) Schenck, 76, of Big Spring died Sunday, May 29, 2011, at Hospice House of Odessa. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Trinity Memorial Park.
Leo W. “Doc” James, 90, of Omaha, died Sunday, May 29, 2011, at his residence. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Rocky Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Rocky Branch with the Rev. Larry Neely and the Rev. Glenn Griffith officiating. Interment followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Mt. Pleasant.
Kyle Jackson, 81, of Lamesa died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, in an Odessa Hospice Facility. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.

Jean Bassett, 75, of Big Spring died Monday, May 23, 2011, at her residence. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Myers & Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Elwin Collom, pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
In honor of Alvin Gluege, a memorial service will be held on Memorial Day, May 30, 2011, at 10:45 a.m. at the Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum located at 5740 W. 19th St. in Lubbock. Friends and family of Gluege, a longtime Big Spring resident, are invited to attend the memorial service.
