Viola Pearl Ritter Rogers, 90, died Sunday, July 22, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Edgar Funeral Home in Marble Falls, Texas.

She was born to Melvin A. and Lilly Pearl Watts Ritter on Nov. 6, 1921, in Alan, Okla. She was married to the late Woodrow W. Rogers for 47 years and as a stay-at-home mom, raising their children, Beverly Sue Grantham, Gary Rogers and Rowena Rogers Brooks while living in Big Spring.

Katherine "Kate" Kincade, 56, of Big Spring died Friday, July 20, 2012, at her residence. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at the funeral home.

She was born Dec. 20, 1955, in Lamoni, Iowa, and married Luis Kincade on March 17, 1990, in Socorro, N.M.

Kate moved to Socorro, N.M., in 1986 from Lamoni, Iowa, and then to Big Spring in 1996.

Survivors include her husband, Luis Kincade of Big Spring; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Kincade of Odessa; one brother; and one sister.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Wendell Smith, officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, located at 5701 Hwy. 277 South with Wes Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born Oct. 19, 1953, in Big Spring, Texas, to Melva and Joe Swinney. She was a lifetime resident of Howard County. She was a bus driver for Forsan Independent School District. She loved her grandchildren, reading and sewing.

Jeffery David Stevenson, 40, of Big Spring, Texas, died Monday, July 16, 2012, in San Marcos, Texas.

He was born Aug. 26, 1971 in Big Spring, the son of David Stevenson of New Matamoras, Ohio, and Mary Stevenson of Barto, Pa.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Josh Moore; paternal grandfather, William Stevenson and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Bard.
