Librado “Lee” Canales Jr., 75, of Big Spring died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at his residence. Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with burial at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
Cory Puga, 19, of Big Spring, died Sunday at University Medical Center. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.

MCKINNEY — Oneda “Aunt Dodo” Thompson, 98, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, in a McKinney hospital. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel with the Rev. Jimmy Griffith officiating and directed by Starbuck Funeral Home of Merkel.
Aubrey Weaver, 89, of Big Spring died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, in a local hospital. Private services were held.

Raoul Robles Jr., 66, of Big Spring died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Msr. Bernard Gully officiating. Burial with military honors will be held at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

Doris Whirley McMorries, 83, of Tarzan, passed away Feb. 10, 2011, at her residence. Funeral services have been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at First Baptist Church in Stanton with the Rev. Leandro Gonzales of First Baptist Church of Tarzan officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Francisca “Kika” Hernandez Parras, age 83, passed away Friday morning, Feb. 11, 2011. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at Nalley- Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
Martha Loveless, 49, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Joey Bacon officiating.
Betty Jo Merworth, 78, of Big Spring, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at her home. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at Sidney Baptist Church in Sidney, with Kenneth Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Sipe Springs Cemetery in Comanche County.
