Herman Rosemond Sr., 70, of Big Spring died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at West Highway 80 Church of Christ with Ulis Johnson and Ulysses Mathews officiating.
FORT WORTH — John Lewis Stripling, 94, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Ridglea United Methodist Church with interment to follow in Greenwood Memorial Park.

Benigna Salgado Montez, 81, of Stanton died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, in a Big Spring hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stanton. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Stanton. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at 407 St. Teresa.
