Clyde James 'Jimmy' Bailey Jr.

Clyde James “Jimmy” Bailey Jr., 65, of Big Spring died Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at Hospice House in Odessa. No services are planned.
He was born Sept. 24, 1945, in Lamesa to Opal and Clyde Bailey Sr. He grew up in Lamesa and lived most of his life in Albuquerque, N.M., and Hot Springs, Ark. He was a retired car salesman.
He is survived by one sister, Phyllis Smith of Big Spring; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Chris Heard of Moorpark, Calif., and Robert Thompson of Big Spring officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
