Myrtle (Marie) Kays, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Feb. 12, 2014, at her home in Ackerly, Texas. Graveside services were held Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta, Okla., under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.
Oceal McMillan, 92, of Big Spring, died Monday. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Phillip "Filmo" Rose, 30, of Big Spring, Texas, died Friday, February 14, 2014, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.

Yolanda Lara, 69, formerly of Big Spring, Texas, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, in Brownsville, Texas. Her services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory.
Leo E. Frank, 93, of Big Spring, Texas, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at a local hospital. His services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory.
George M. Peters, 88 of Midland, formerly of Stanton, Texas, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, in a Midland nursing home. A rosary service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stanton. Funeral Mass will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stanton with Msgr. James Bridges, officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Stanton.
Richard Stone, 82, of Big Spring, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. No services are planned.
He was born in Saugus, Mass. to Winifred and Thomas Stone. He served in the United States Air Force and retired from civil service after being stationed at San Angelo, San Antonio and Webb Air Force Bases. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Benton, Ark.
Steve Coleman, 60, of Big Spring, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at Trinity Memorial Park with Charles Childers, officiating.
Dolly Shober, 74, of Big Spring died Sunday Feb. 9, 2014, at her residence. Vigil services will be 7 p.m. Friday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.
She was born to Daun and Joe Ramirez Sept. 24, 1939, in San Saba, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Big Spring. She worked at Walmart until her retirement. She loved spending time with her family, her children and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed working her yard when she was able and was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish.
