Father vs. Son clash ends with Coahoma win

On a misty, foggy night, one of Coahoma's own returned to Bulldog Gym for a bitter-sweet reunion. It was father vs. son as the O'Donnell Eagles came to town, coached by Blake Nichols, son of Coahoma's Coach Kim Nichols.

It was the first time the two men have met as coaches and this time, the Dad got the better of Son, as Coahoma defeated O'Donnell 64-50, spurred on by 34-point night by Tanner Ruiz. The Coahoma junior hit four 3-pointers to lead the Bulldogs to their second win of the young season.
