The Forsan Buffaloes pulled off an exciting fourth-quarter comeback Tuesday night against Garden City. Down 37-36heading into the final frame, the Buffaloes became unstoppable, draining buckets from all over the court and scoring 21 points in the period to take a 57-52 victory.
After jumping out to an early16-8 lead after the first period, Forsan found themselves in a real fight, as Garden City rebounded in the second and third quarters, outscoring the Buffaloes 16-12 and 13-8, respectively.
The Lady Steers of Big Spring made quick work of Monahans Tuesday night, grabbing a decisive 67-35 win on Monahans' home court.
Ambra Hill got back to the form Lady Steers fans saw early in the season, scoring a game-high 17 points for Big Spring. Though the game went a full four quarters, it was pretty much decided after the first frame, as Big Spring exploded out to a 17-4 lead. Then, seemingly to make sure their point was taken, the Lady Steers lit up the scoreboard for 25 points in the second, while holding Monahans to seven.
