LENORAH — The Grady Wildcats took an early lead Tuesday night and rode through four quarters to take down the Sands Mustangs in a District 8-A matchup.
The game would see players from both benches reach 20 points in the exciting run-and-gun clash, as No.7 ranked Grady’s Branson Richards lit up the scoreboard for 22 points and Sands’ Caleb Thomasson rang up 20 points.
Grady put up 16 points in the first quarter, while holding Sands to eight. By the time the two teams found the locker rooms, Grady had built a 31-20 lead.
