Emory highlights WJCAC honors for Howard College

March 10, 2011

The Howard College Hawks are well-represented as the Western Junior College Athletic Conference honors were announced this week.

Probably the highest honor for Howard was Carlos Emory being named MVP of the conference. Shavon Coleman, Corey Stern and Joe Bright all earned honorable mention.

With little time left on the clock and the Hawk needing a big shot, Emory was often the go-to guy. The most memorable shot the sophomore took is probably the 3-pointer that gave the Hawks the lead at Midland College with 15 seconds left.
