Lady Steers turn back Midland Christian

September 7, 2011

The Lady Steers were in action Tuesday, defending Steer Gym against Midland Christian. The game took all five matches to determine a winner, as the two teams took turns with the advantage, but Big Spring pulled out the win with scores of 14-25, 25-16, 25-17, 22-25 and 15-11.

The 20-8 Lady Steers used every weapon available to them in the win, with familiar names leading the way. Setters Cerbi Ritchey and Morgan Seaton combined for an 49 assists in the game, along with 33 digs, 22 kills and 13 blocks.
