COAHOMA — The drought — the victory drought, that is — is over for the Coahoma Bulldogs and Bulldogettes.
The two teams each notched their first District 3-2A wins of the season Friday night vs. Post — the Bulldogs rallied from a first-quarter deficit to take a 63-55 win over the Antelopes, while the Bulldogettes found themselves on the high side of a 55-41 score.
The Bulldogettes improved to 6-19 overall and 1-8 in league play, while the Bulldogs improved to 1-6 in the district standings.
Both teams return to action Tuesday at Forsan.

SNYDER — Just call the Big Spring Steers and Lady Steers the Road Warriors.
The Steers and Lady Steers both won their second road game in succession Friday night at Snyder to pull back into District 5-3A contention.
The Lady Steers evened their district record at 2-2 with a 51-41 win over Snyder, while a big second-half rally propelled the Steers to a 51-36 win over the Tigers which improved Big Spring's league record to 2-1.
Both teams returning to action to district action Friday at Abilene Wylie.
