SEMINOLE — The rain held off and the wind picked up just enough to cool the crowd who traveled to see the Coahoma Bulldogettes on Monday in their bi-district matchup against the Ladyjackets of Kemit.
Coahoma — who entered the postseason as the third District 3-2A seed — found themselves trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the third when Bree Hilario bunted and reached safely after Kermit's first basemen bobbled the ball. Laurel Nix hit a one-out single that scored Hilario, who had stolen second and third base, tying the game at 2-all.
