Hawks baseball squad receives WJCAC, Region 5 honors

May 30, 2012

The Howard College Hawks baseball team — who finished with a 45-12 record — might not have reached all of their season goals, but the squad has been showered with recognition from both the Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) and Region 5.

The 2012 WJCAC All-Conference team recognized three players while also giving the nod to Coach Britt Smith as the WJCAC Coach of the Year as he led the team to a record four consecutive conference championships.
