The University Interscholastic League's biennial realignment of Texas high schools didn't produce many changes in classifications, but likely added plenty of expenses to school's travel budgets.
This latest realignment takes effect with the 2012-2013 school year.
The school affected the least by realignment is Big Spring High School, which will remain in Class 3A for the next two years.

The Big Spring Steers and Lady Steers followed similar scripts to victory against Sweetwater Tuesday – struggle early, use defense and three-point shooting to take the lead, then blow matters wide open in the second half.
The results were anything but boring for BSHS fans – the Lady Steers claimed a 53-31 win, while the Steers raced to a 48-37 victory in District 5-3A action for both teams.
The Lady Steers improved to 20-8 overall, 3-3 in district play, while the Steers are now 13-16, 3-3.

LEVELLAND — Howard College Men's Basketball Coach Mark Adams isn't much one for moral victories, but even he saw a little bit of a silver lining in the Hawks' nail-bitingly close loss to top-ranked South Plains Monday night.
The Hawks pushed South Plains down to the wire — almost to the last second, actually — before finally dropping a 65-62 decision in Western Junior College Athletic Conference action.

Coaches and players like to talk about intensity as if it's something that can be bottled and stored away for use at appropriate times, but in truth it's an intangible thing that you either have or you don't.
Thursday night against Odessa College, the Howard College Hawks lacked intensity in the first half. The second half, however, was a far different story.
The Hawks rebounded from a double-digit deficit in the first half to earn a 91-88 overtime win over OC in a Western Junior College Athletic Conference thriller at Dorothy Garrett Coliseum Thursday night.
A glitch in referee assignments resulted in the postponement of Thursday's Western Junior College Athletic Conference women's basketball game between Howard College and Odessa College.
The game is now set for a 6 p.m. tip-off tonight at Dorothy Garrett Coliseum.
HC officials said that the WJCAC administrator responsible for assigning officials to particular games failed to have referees available for Thursday's game in Big Spring. After failing to find alternate referees, officials from both schools decided upon the postponement.
