Big Spring

Girls

It took the Lady Steers (16-14, 4-4) over five minutes to score during Tuesday's meeting with No. 17 Abilene Wylie. Meanwhile, the Lady Bulldogs seemed as if they couldn't miss a shot, outscoring Big Spring 32-5 in the first half.

With about four minutes remaining before halftime, a fire alarm was tripped, halting the action for about 10 minutes. It was just a false alarm, but unfortunately for Big Spring it didn't interrupt Wylie's rhythm. The Lady Bulldogs went home with their perfect District 4-3A record intact after a 60-24 blowout win.
