LUBBOCK â€” Thirty degrees with 30 miles an hour wind gusts. That's what the Big Spring boys golf team is facing today as they wrap up the regional tournament at Shadow Hills Golf Course in Lubbock.
The Steers shot a good round yesterday and at press time, are sitting in second place with a score of 309 â€” one stroke ahead of rival Abilene Wylie and 12 strokes behind No. 1 Andrews.
â€śI'm proud of our kids,â€ť Joslin said of Wednesday's performance. â€śIt was really tough, the wind was blowing hard. We wanted to put ourselves in position to get a top three finish finish and we did that.â€ť
