Johnny Ray Liedecke, 55, of Big Spring died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, in Scurry County, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Rogue Salazar Sr. and Co-Pastor Jesse Salazar Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at the funeral home.
He was born Aug. 15, 1956, in San Antonio, Texas, and married Guadalupe Salazar on March 5, 1987, in Colorado City, Texas.
Dolores V. Chavez, 94, of Big Spring died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, at her residence. Her services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.

The Hawks and NMMI entered Monday night's Western Junior College Athletic Conference matchup at opposite ends of the conference spectrum â€” Howard was firmly in second place, while the Broncos were ensconced in the WJCAC cellar.
So, of course, the game wasn't decided until the final moments.
Lowell E. Holland went to be with
his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
on Jan. 27, 2012.
Lowell was born March 6, 1928,
to Ernest E. and Myrtle Holland
in Loraine, Texas. On March 3,
1950, Lowell married Wanda June
Patton in Big Spring, Texas. They
were married for 61 years before
June passed away March 7, 2011.
Lowell served in the United
States Marine Corps, receiving the Purple Heart
for his service in the Korean War, where he lost his
eyesight in frontline combat. After recovering from
his injuries, Lowell attended Bethany Nazarene
Aubrey Dale Armistead, 78, native son of Big Spring, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, in Houston, Texas, surrounded by his loving family.
Aubrey was born in Big Spring on March 16, 1933, of Jesse Carrol and Ruby Hazel Armistead, Daniel and Dora Armistead of Big Spring and Aubrey Aquilla and Lela Long of Rising Star, Texas. Aubrey, his brother J.C. and sister, Betty, attended Big Spring High School. Aubrey was a member of the Church of Christ and long-time employee of Cosden Oil and Chemical Co.
William A. Bonner, 68, of Austin, formerly of Big Spring died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, in Big Spring. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
Dr. James Shelton, 67, of Big Spring died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at his residence. Services are pending at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
