Bobette Pierce, 72, of Big Spring died Tuesday, July 19, 2011, in a local hospital. Her services are pending with Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
Corbin Heath Young and Kandace Joann Schuelke will exchange wedding vows Dec. 31, 2011 at Circle Six Ranch Baptist Tabernacle, Stanton.
The future bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Patty Schuelke of Stanton and the prospective groom is the son of Ren and Leisha Young of Paradise, Texas.
Miss Schuelke is a 2008 graduate of Grady ISD and currently attending Howard Payne University in Brownwood, majoring in biology with a 2012 graduation date.

AnnMarie was born June 21, 2011, at 12:30 a.m. She weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and measured 19 Â½ inches long.
Her maternal grandmother is Jovita Armas. Her paternal grandparents are Vianey Larraga and Angel Ortiz.
She was welcomed home by her siblings, Daniel, Ethan and Zaydi Ortiz.
Lindsey Nicole Hattenback and Gordon Carroll Gooding were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at 7 p.m. The ceremony was held at Saint Anne's Catholic Church in Houston. The Rev. Jay Walsh officiated.
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at The Courtyard on St. James. On the even of the wedding the groom's parents hosted a dinner at The Grove in downtown Houston.

The prospective groom is the son of Jane and step-father, Dean Jajko of Riverside, NJ and Jackie and step-mother, Mary Gregg of Big Spring. He is former student of Big Spring High School and 2008 graduate of Rancocas High School in Eastampton, NJ. He is employed at Jack Cathey Construction.
Reservoirs aren't the only things running low these days, as city officials warn that residents caught violating water restrictions in the face of a region-wide shortage are going to find patience for their wasteful ways a long-gone commodity.
Chad Averette, director of the city's Code EnforcmentOffice, said the city will be taking a zero-tolerance approach to violations to mandatory water restriction.
