Aria Angelica Saenz, daughter of Alberto Saenz and Ashley Carrillo of Big Spring, was born Dec. 26. 2011, at 10:44 a.m.
She weighed six pounds eight ounces and measured 18 inches.
Her maternal grandparents are Noelia Carrillo and Roy Carrillo. Paternal grandparents are Manuel and Elvira Saenz.
She was welcomed home by her siblings, E.J., Dominic and Demis Saenz, Ruben and Aubry Lopez.
Jaelyn Marie Gonzales, daughter of Abraham and Jennifer Gonzales of Big Spring, was born Dec. 9, 2011.
She was born at Odessa Regional Medical Center in Odessa.
She measured 20.75 inches and weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces.
Her maternal grandparents are Joe and Hortensia Jacobo, of San Angelo and Uvalde.
Paternal grandparents are Max Gonzales and Rebecca Rivera, of Uvalde, Texas.
She was welcomed home by her siblings, A.J. Gonzales, Jocelyn Gonzales and her baby angel Xavier Joel Gonzales.
Fabian and Cathy Ontiveros of Big Spring celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary Dec. 31, 2011.
The couple has 11 grandchildren in Lubbock and Big Spring.
The couple met at the Big Spring Bowl-A-Rama and were married Dec. 31, 2004. Both attend College Baptist Church. They still enjoy bowling.
Krista Chesworth and Jeremy Braxton were united in marriage Saturday, July 9, 2011. The wedding took place at College Baptist Church. The Rev. Ken McMeans performed the double ring ceremony.
Krista is the daughter of Michael and Anita Chesworth of Big Spring and the granddaughter of the late Shirley Bell and the late Jim and Sylvia Chesworth.
Jeremy is the son of Lillie Shoup of Big Spring and James and Ann Braxton of Houston. He is the grandson of Charlie Martin and Bobbie Martin and the late James and Joan Braxton.

Nariah Faith Martinez, 8-year-old daughter of Israel and Toni Martinez of Big Spring, was selected as a candidate in the Distinguished Youth of Texas Scholarship and Recognition Program held Nov. 25-27 at the Marriot Rivercenter Hotel in San Antonio. During the weekend competition, Nariah won the title of second runner up to the Little Miss of Texas titleholder which also included an academic savings bond.
Paisley Blair Walden, daughter of Brent and Krystal Walden of Big Spring, was born Aug. 25, 2011, at 9:03 p.m.
Paisley weighed 7.9 pounds and measured 19 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are John and Anita Cline of Big Spring and paternal grandparents are Wesley and Brenda Walden of Stockbridge, Ga.
Leigh Langley Duncan and Taylor Elliott Burns exchanged wedding vows Dec. 3, 2011, at Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas.
The ceremony was officiated by Doctor Ronald Wesley Scates. A reception at Arlington Hall followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Rita Kay Langley of Big Spring and Dallas and Mr. James Murray Duncan of Dallas. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Langley of Big Spring and the late Mrs. And Mrs. Francis Murray Duncan of Winfield, La.
