Also arrested was Jason Maurice Threats, 34, of 805 Lorilla, on charges of possession of a controlled substance — one gram or less and possession of marijuana — more than two ounces and less than four ounces.
According to witnesses to the raid, officers with the Big Spring Police Department and the BSPD Narcotics Task Force stormed the Lorilla residence shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Ballin was arrested in mid-December and charged with delivery of a controlled substance during a drug sweep carried out by local, state and federal law enforcement officers. Threats was also arrested and charged with possession of marijuana – two ounces or less in connection with the August 2008 bust, in addition to being indicted by a Howard County grand jury on charges of delivery of a controlled substance (second-degree felony) and theft of service (state jail felony) in March 2010.
Threats was also arrested in May 2009 on warrants for delivery of cocaine (first-degree felony) and theft (misdemeanor Class B), according to law enforcement records.
