50th anniversary

Roland and Sara (Wood) Fryar of Big Spring celebrated their 50th anniversary July 13, 2012.
The couple will celebrate their milestone anniversary with their family in Fredricksburg.
The couple's children include: Rebecca Mattingly and husband Steven of Big Spring, Lisa Fryar of Big Spring and Jay Fryar and wife Michelle of Big Spring. Grandchildren are Candice Rea and husband Brian of Lubbock, Michael Jackman of Big Spring and Ryleigh Fryar of Big Spring and two great-grandchildren.
Roland was originally from Knott. He farmed and retired from Reagent Chemical. Sara is from Big Spring and worked at First National Bank. She retired from EFCU (education federal credit union). Both have been life-long residents of Howard County. The couple enjoys outdoors and spending time with family.
