Aida Sanford

Aida Sanford, 92, of Big Spring, Texas, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013, at Lamun-Lusk-Sanchez Texas State Veterans Home. Private family committal services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery at a later date.

She was born November 15, 1921, in Puerto Rico. She received her bachelor’s at the University of San Juan.  She was fluent in English, French, Spanish and German. She had lived most of her life in Odessa before coming to Big Spring. She was a Catholic.

She is survived by one son, Mark Sanford of Midland, Texas; one sister Irma Velez of Orlando and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
