Alice Ann Crown of Denton, Texas, formerly of Big Spring, Texas, passed away Aug. 21, 2011, in a Denton hospital.
A memorial service was held Aug. 24, 2011, in Denton.
She was born in Ludlow, Vt., on Dec. 13, 1943, to Phyllis Marie Waite and Albert Bulley. She worked for Coffee & Coffee Attorneys at Law while she lived in Big Spring. She married Kenneth Crown on March 24, 1992, in Sterling City. He preceded her in death Jan. 16, 2010.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Alisa Jaird of Big Spring and Matt and Cynthia Jaird of Lake Dallas; one granddaughter, Gabriela Jaird of Lake Dallas; one step-son, Shannon Fader and Leslie of Greenwood; two step-grandchildren, Brandon and Jenna; one sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Neal Johnson of Brandon, Vt.; one sister-in-law, Margaret Jaird of Ludlow, Vt.; one niece; and one nephew.
