Anderson wedding

Krista LaDawn Blagrave of Ackerly and Clayton John Anderson of Gail exchanged wedding vows April 14, 2012. The couple exchanged vows at Green Lawn Church of Christ in Lubbock at a 5 p.m. ceremony. Larry Marshall of Garland officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Stan and Carla Blagrave of Ackerly. She is the granddaughter of Richard and Jean Parker of Knott and Derwood and Joan Blagrave of Ackerly.
The groom is the son of John and Kevva Anderson of Gail. He is the grandson of Rich and Barbara Anderson of Gail and Wilella Tucker of Vealmoor and the late Sonny Tucker.
Kyle Fambro, a friend of the bride, provided the music, which consisted of “Feels Like Home,” “Forget Me Not.” During the seating of the parents, “Who I Am” by Fambro was played. As the couple left the alter, “A Thousand Years,” “Marry Me,” “Give in to Me,” and “Shout” played.
The bride, given away by her parents Stan and Carla Blagrave, wore a sapphire, mermaid style dress by Alfred Angelo, the color of ivory/moonlight waltz with a re-embroidered lace at the waist. The taffeta strapless sweetheart drop waist satin and organza gown detailed with draped body had a full-flared skirt with mock wrap front and beaded detail rhinestones and crystal beading. The iridescent satin gown with crystal beading and embroidery added a splash of the unexpected with a lace-up corset back. The dress was completed with a modesty piece and a chapel train.
The bride’s veil was made of ivory tulle and clipped to the back of her hair trimmed with rhinestone brooch barrette. She carried a handmade vintage brooch bouquet embellished with a family given pearls and brooches tied together with oasis ribbon.
Shelli Jordan of Ackerly, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor and Brittni Blagrave of Wichita Falls, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Megan Broyles of Muleshoe, friend of the bride; Jade Martin of Weatherford, friend of the bride; Jennifer Happe of Paton, Iowa, friend of the bride; and Ashley Baker of Monahans, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids wore oasis-short strapless pickup and bubble hem dresses and carried a bouquet of oasis and coral gerber daisies with white roses and an accent of rhinestones.
Honorary bridesmaids included Whitney Anderson of Lubbock, sister of the groom; Bailey Anderson of College Station, sister of the groom; Courtney Dennis of Del Rio, friend of the bride; Samantha Casperite of Milton, Fla., friend of the bride; Alison Colburn of Winters, friend of the bride; and Rachel Frosch of Midland, friend of the bride. Honorary bridesmaids wore black satin short strapless and pocket dresses. Each carried a lighted candle that was placed on an ivory satin decorated table representing a circle of friends.
Flower girls included Jolee Jordan of Ackerly, niece of the bride; Aleigha Higgins and Paizley Higgins both of Knott and cousins of the bride. Ring bearer was Patton Wagner of Wolforth, friend of the groom.
Ushers included Brooks Bland of Canadian; Kit Wood of Alpine; and Tyler Witte of Karnes City, all friends of the groom. Candlelighters were cousins of the bride, Will and Aaron Thomas of Knott.
The groom, best man and groomsmen were dressed in western wear attire including starched blue jeans with a black tux and platinum colored vest and tie with black cowboy hat and custom made black Anderson Bean boots.
Chance Tatum of Snyder, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Will Wagner of Wolforth; Bryan Skehan of Ozona; Jonathan Good of Lamesa; Clint Cowart of Gail; and Wade Fisher of Houston, all friends of the groom.
Kailey Tindol of Ackerly and Jacy Parker of Haslett, cousins of the bride, served at the guest registry table.
The reception took place at Stone Creek Event Center in Lubbock.
The brides cake was a four-tier vanilla strawberry swirl alternating with Italian Cream cake, ivory cream icing detailed with polka dots and paisleys topped with a brooche bouquet of flowers. The groom’s cake was a three-tiered double chocolate cake in the shape of a tree stump with carvings of CJ loves Krista.
The couple honeymooned at Sandals Emerald Bay in the Bahamas. After their honeymoon, the couple made their home at Muleshoe Ranch in Gail.
The bride is a 2004 Sands High School graduate and a 2009 Texas Tech University early childhood education graduate.
The groom is a 2004 Bordon County High School and 2008 Texas A&M ag leadership and development graduate. He is employed as an assistant manager for the Muleshoe Ranch in Gail.
