Anita Bustamante, 72, of Big Spring, died Saturday Feb. 8, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb.15, 2014, at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.

She was born Aug. 29, 1941, in Big Spring to Maria and Gregorio Moreno. She was a lifetime resident of Howard County. She was a Jehovah’s Witness. She worked as a seamstress for Big Spring Dress Factory and for Walls Industries. She later worked for Big Spring Independent School District until retiring in 2011.

She is survived by her husband, Jesus Bustamante Sr. of Big Spring; one son, Jesus Bustamante Jr. and wife Jennifer of Oklahoma City; three daughters, JoAnn Williams and husband Timothy of Big Spring, Emma Cooper and husband Craig of Big Spring and Nancy Sanchez and husband Abraham of Abilene; three sisters, Lucy Garcia of Chicago, Ill,, Rosa Marquez of Big Spring and Margarita Ortega of Dallas; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Joe Moreno; and three sisters, Maria Renteria, Emma Haro and Janie Marquez.
