Anne Hardy Chaney died June 30, 2014, after a short illness.
Anne was born Sept. 10, 1933, in Dallas, Texas. She graduated Highland Park High School and Austin College. After graduation she moved to Big Spring, Texas, and married James Robert Chaney. They had three sons, Robert, Roy and John. After her husband's retirement, they settled in Houston where she worked as a realtor. In 1990, with her husband and son Roy, they established Camaro Concepts Inc. where she worked every day.
She will be remembered for her support of her family and friends. Anne was always curious about life and that led her to explore every facet to the fullest. Those who knew her and loved her will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her son Robert and her parents. Mrs. Chaney is survived by sons, Roy and wife Wanda, John and wife Kim, daughter-in-law Jereann, niece June Anne, grandchildren Corbin, Brittany, Jay, Justin and Holland, great-grandchildren Dominic and Kylie, and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday July 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. with services set for 10 a.m. Sunday in the Waltrip Chapel, 1415 Campbell Road, Houston, Texas, 77055. Burial will be 3 p.m., Monday in Trinity Memorial Park, Big Spring, Texas.
