Area basketball: Coahoma-Stanton square off

Coahoma-Stanton
The Stanton boys, led by Tyler Fulton and Trace Sidle, hope to stave off Coahoma again at 7:30 p.m. today in Stanton. The girls’ game is set for at 6 p.m. and both teams need a win to keep pace in District 3-2A.

Forsan
The Forsan girls face Post at 6 p.m. today in Forsan after sweeping Coahoma for the season. The boys are coming off a loss to Coahoma, but hope to right the ship at 7:30 p.m. today.

Sands
Coming off a huge win over No.10 Grady, the No.9 Sands boys face rival Borden County at 8 p.m.today in Ackerly. The No.19 girls took a tough loss to Grady on Tuesday. They hope to get back on track at 6:30 p.m. today against Borden Counyt.

Grady
The No.10 Grady boys may be reeling from the loss to Sands Tuesday, but they have to go on the road against O’Donnell at 8 p.m. today. The girls’ game is at 6:30 p.m.

Garden City
The No. 22 Garden City Bearkats are on the road against Veribest at 8 p.m. today. The Lady Kats take the floor before that at 6:30 p.m.
