Bailey — Kirby wedding

Audra Lynn Bailey of Big Spring and Jared Eugene Kirby of Pleasanton were united in marriage Sept.19, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Los Patios in San Antonio. Paul Kirby, uncle of the groom, officiated. A reception followed at The Brazier at Los Patios. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. The bride is the daughter of Mike and Denise Bailey of Big Spring. The groom is the son of Jerry and Martha Kirby of Pleasanton. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a heavenly, ivory wedding gown from Priscilla of Boston. The Grecian-inspired gown featured a halter neckline and empire waist. The bodice was accented with crystal beaded trim and pleating. The princess line gown opened to a slim trumpet skirt and sweep train. For something blue, the bride wore marine blue, glitter, Christian Louboutin, peep toe, heels. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of birds of paradise, cream roses and blue irises.Maid of honor was Carey Kirby of Round Rock, Texas, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Amber Reed, cousin of the bride, Christine Bedwell, friend of the bride, and Amanda Bedwell, cousin of the bride all from Big Spring. Flower Girl was the groom’s niece, Addison Kirby. The maid of honor and bridesmaids wore cocktail-length gowns in marine blue satin and silver glitter heels. Each carried a hand-tied bouquet of orange birds of paradise, cream roses, and blue irises. Best men were Randol Kirby of Fort Worth and Ryan Kirby of Albuquerque, N.M., both brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were William Bailey, Kyle Bailey and Adam Bailey, all brothers of the bride and from Big Spring. Ring bearer was the groom’s nephew, Mason Kirby. The bride is a graduate of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where she received her bachelor of business administration degree in finance. She is employed as an accountant at Boxer Property corporate headquarters in Houston and is enrolled in the master’s of accountancy program at the University of Houston. The groom is a graduate of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where he received a bachelor of business administration degree in marketing followed by an MBA. He is employed as a search engine optimization specialist at Boxer Property corporate headquarters in Houston.
