Bailey to seek Pct. 2 nomination

A former Republican Party chairman for Howard County is throwing his hat into the political ring.

Craig Bailey, who chaired the county GOP until earlier this year, announced this week he will seek the Republican nomination in the Precinct 2 county commissioner race.

The Precinct 2 seat is currently held by Republican Donnie Baker, who recently announced for re-election.

To file for office, contact Democratic County Chairman Walter Shipman (432-264-6660) or Republican County Chairman Ron Farquhar (432-528-4869).

Filing continues through Dec. 9.
