Barbara Ann Eisler, 76, of Big Spring died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, in a local nursing home. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at the Peace Chapel at Trinity Memorial Park.

Barbara was born Oct. 27, 1936, in Hobbs, N.M., and married Gifford Robert "Bob" Eisler on June 27, 1953, in Big Spring. He preceded her in death Sept. 20, 1980.

She was a broker for Marie Rowland Real Estate. When it closed, she went to Abilene Christian University and earned a bachelors degree in sociology. She then began working as the Texas State Region IV Volunteer Coordinator and helped nursing homes set up volunteer programs.

She was a member of 11th Street and Birdwell Lane Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Pam Hass and husband Larry; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, W.D. and Marie (Cates) Rowland; one daughter, Robbie Winn; one granddaughter; and one brother, Rufus Rowland.
