Bark for Life

Staff Writer

The first Bark for Life is coming to the Cross Roads area quickly.
The event brings our four-footed friends together to help raise fund fro the the American Cancer Society. The event is scheduled Saturday, Oct. 17, and begins at 10 a.m. at the Old Settlers Pavilion at Comanche Trail Park.
“Bark for Life is a great opportunity to involve those four legged family members in the fight against cancer,” said Beverly Grant, director of Bark for Life in Big Spring. “It gives us a chance to honor survivors, remember those lost and those who are still fighting, whether they are friends, family or pets.”
The community is invited to bring your dog and join the ACS for a morning of tail wagging, dog treats and tricks as we help people get well, stay well, fight back and find cures.
