Bascum 'Doodle' Trammell

Bascum “Doodle” Trammell, 82, of Mansfield, formerly of Big Spring, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at the Dicey Community Cemetery in Parker County.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at the Blessing Funeral Home, located in Mansfield, Texas.

She was born March 16, 1930, in Hardy, Ky., and married Louie Trammell on Dec. 21, 1946. He preceded her in death Nov. 2, 1988.

Survivors include three sons, James Trammell and wife Beth of Morrison, Colo., Weldon Trammell and wife Phoebe of Big Spring and Louie Trammell Jr. and wife Donna of Mansfield; eight grandchildren, Kristi Cooper, Brandi Tucker, Dr. Talmadge Trammell, Haley Trammell, Heather Trammell, Emilee Trammell, Jeremy Joy and Justin Joy; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield, Texas.
