Becky Hughes Gaston, 75, of Big Spring died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Calvary Callender and Don Swinney officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at the funeral home.

She was born Feb. 6, 1937, in Dallas, Texas. She married O.C. Morrow in 1959 and he preceded her in death Feb. 22, 1973. She then married Jerry Don Hughes on Aug. 17, 1973, and he preceded her in death Jan. 23, 1999. She married Calvin C. Gaston in November of 2007, and he preceded her in death Sept. 28, 2011.

Becky came to Big Spring in 1959 and had owned and operated three beauty shops. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, Larry Morrow and wife Toni of Odessa; one step-son, Scott Hughes and wife Carla of Big Spring; one step-daughter, Jenny Acebedo of Abilene; three brothers, Rickie Freeman and wife Becky, Jim Freeman and Randy Freeman and wife Diane, all of the Dallas area; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Hassell and Mary Lou Freeman; two brothers, Glen Freeman and Gary Freeman; and one sister, Sherry Howard.

The family suggests memorials be made to Home Hospice, 111 E. Seventh St., Suite A, Big Spring, Texas 79720.
