Services for Bettie Gross Crow Pettus, age 83, of Jacksonville are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Calvary Baptist Church, Jacksonville, with Pastor Michael Mathis and the Rev. Bob Huddleston officiating.

Interment will follow in Jarratt Cemetery, under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.

Bettie died Friday, March 15, 2013.

She was born April 18, 1929, in Big Spring, Texas.

Mrs. Pettus was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She was the wife of two Baptist ministers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Vera Gross; husbands, Loyd Crow and Albert Pettus; brother, A.J. Gross; sisters, Oleta Johnson, Doris Maneval, twin sister, Billie Walker; a grandson; and an infant brother, Gaston Gross.

Survivors are a son, Phillip Crow wife Diann of Mansfield, Texas; a daughter, Gayla Campbell and husband Barry of Jacksonville; a son; Odis Crow and wife Lisa of Jefferson; a daughter, Valarie Prather and husband David of Jacksonville; daughters, Lajuan Copeland and husband Jerry Sikes of, Trinidad, Colo., and Denise Whitley and husband David of Reno, Nev.; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Autry Funeral Home.
